When knocked down the victim will fall to the floor and drop items in hand, but will be able to crawl, pick up items and fight from the ground. However, while knocked down they won't be able to shove or grab people. In addition, if someone is knocked down when they are already lying on the ground, they will not drop their held items.

Sleeping can slowly heal you while you're above 80% of your max health, but space people are extremely picky about their sleeping conditions. Sleeping while at high sanity, in the dark (or while wearing a blindfold), while deaf, on a bed (or table, to a lesser effect), and with a bedsheet can all work to increase healing and cure a bad night of drinking low alcohol juices. Healing starts at 0.2 a tick for brute and burn and half that for toxins, reaching a maximum near 1 and 0.5 respectively. If you manage to combine all the healing factors, you might even be able to get a good night's sleep.

Sleep quality also converts the exercise status effect into XP for the fitness skill.
