Rules are equal for everyone, it's just, for some people, they are more equal than others.

Sticky had 1 warning on record in our discord logs of being told not to tell people to kill themselves. Someone pinged me about him saying it, I consulted his list of warnings, saw he had a warning on record so I banned him. There's no merit to this Sticky warned 10000 times story, the amount of warnings he has on discord are relatively low and for wildly differing reasons. If he was warned about shit before we had an official way of logging it I can't do much with that, I wasn't there for it.

The reason I unbanned him was because he had a cohesive, thorough explanation that he understands the reasons why it's not allowed to say kys kys, apologized for it and promised not to do it again. This promise is now also logged on discord, and if he does it again the consequences would be far more severe.

I would've done the exact same thing if it was a normal player or another admin, retired or otherwise. A thorough apology merits a lot of good will, and demonstrating you understand why the rule matters means that if it happens again we now know that person knew exactly what they were doing, and can penalize much more severely. Please don't spread accusations of admin bias when you don't know what you're talking about. It's blatant bullshit. Escalating warnings into bans is standard procedure for this sort of an infraction. Archie is right, we don't perma people for this off the bat unless they also break a bunch of other rules in the process.

doxxing is instant blacklist, which is its own distinct tier of punishment which happens to include a permaban. I'd suppose ban evading would fit the bill for an instant perma, and usually metacomms are an instant perma cause they are a pain to detect.
