SS13: The Animated Sitcom

I was bored and had a goofy thought. Imagine that Space Station 13 was adapted into a cartoon. You have your space station, your cast of wacky characters, and plots that escalated and wrapped up within 20 minutes. Think about it, you'd have your everyman main character- maybe a cargo techie or a scientist. You have your wacky side characters: your Italian cannibal chef, your slippery clown, and your comically dictatorial HoS. You have your running jokes, like the assistants that somehow manage to transform from boring interns to subhuman post-apocalyptic tribes by the end of every shift.

It's got untapped creative potential, really. We collaboratively create sitcoms every round we play. The show writes itself!

Yeah, I've thought a bit too about how ripe for adaptation the stories this game generates are.

It's a lot like Sealab, or Avenue 5.
