I want to believe but I know it my heart that none of that is real.

Same pretty much. There's a tiny little grain of belief in me anyway, solely because in the video of the cut content the ending shows a picture of the world trade center with Eli saying "It's not over yet!"

It wasn't the absolute worst implementation of a twist, anyway.

I know this shit is so fucking wild and out there that it's almost certainly bullshit, but I want to believe. It's so fucking crazy that maybe, just maybe, it's all true.

I guess we find out tomorrow.

It's not so bad. Story would be fine without the ebin twist and if it would have done Skullfuck better in terms of keeping him around longer. It's really too bad that Huey cucked us of our revenge. I think the gameplay is pretty great though, I can see myself playing this game for a long while, invading FOBs and such. Even more so when MGO comes out. It would be really nice if Subsistence was something you could select for any mission, or just deploy as in free roam. The game was just too overhyped, they elaborated too much at all of their conventions and put too much into trailers. At this point games should stop with overhype and try and just announce the game is coming instead of showing loads of features. Some shit is pretty broken, including the AI which can range from "see you from 10 miles away" to "where are you!?" when you're ten feet in front of them.

I stole all of this players cargo containers because his guards kept looking at the containers as I extracted them, stopping to say "SHIT" and "DAMN". I left him 2 containers because I couldn't extract them cause one was on top of another and I couldn't get on top.

It's a shame shooting Huey in his fucking face would've caused a time paradox, because I would've magdumped into that scrawny fuck given the chance.
Spoiler:
>mutilate Skullface and leave him to suffer
>Huey puts him out of his misery and crows about how he got his revenge
>mercy kill a bunch of my own soldiers because they're infected with super zombie virus and they'll otherwise cause a global apocalypse
>"Snake you're a monster you said those men were family how could you!?!"
>Holy shit you keep fucking lying to me during interrogations and then correcting yourself when I point it out you piece of shit
>"I'm innocent you're all insane!"
I would've pulled the trigger so hard my controller broke if they put me in one of those cutscenes with Huey like they did with Quiet.

At least we know in the future he
Spoiler:
gets cucked by his own son.

The game had really good gameplay but I felt like the story fell flat.

Definitely worth the money and time, definitely a good game overall.

Finally got the Skull Machete for D-Walker. Vehicles can't do crap to me anymore (as long as I'm in D-Walker).

Also just noticed that if you get critically wounded you gain some kind of color blindness. My red walker suddenly turned white on me after healing myself.

Is there a way to find and add your friends to your FOB buddy list?

Is that not an option at all or am I completely missing it?

At the very least we can all group up and run trains on assholes who invade us.

I bought new GPU for my shitty old computer after hearing how well optimized GZ and PP are, in hope I can run it. I pirated Ground Zeroes, and it runs oh so well, with some settings on mediums/highs.

But I don't want to pirate Phantom Pain, and $60 is more than I paid for the GPU itself, so I will have to wait for deep discount. Maybe for Halloween, but knowing Konami...

I would probably opt out of the FOB invasion/defense shit if I could, honestly.

The shit you get from stealing from others is pretty mediocre yet the potential for a bunch of assholes to come demolish your shit when you aren't even playing is pretty stupid.

Same fucking thing every time I come back

>bunch of FOB mission reports
>couple scrubs losing, get some shitty rewards for beating them
>one or two guys who know how to infiltrate stole all of my shit and 30-40 troops
>decide to enact some reprisal on the scrubs
>steal 15-20 guys a pop from each of the shitters, strip their development platforms bare of resources
>logout and wonder how long it will be before someone comes and steals all that shit back from me

It doesn't even have a big impact on the game, all things considered. Losing resources is probably the worst part of it, makes saving up to build nukes almost fucking impossible unless you just run a nonstop theft-a-thon on a bunch of other people's platforms and then start it building.

It's just overall not very fun and feels like a constant punishment for continuing to play the game.

A really shitty substitute for MGO.

I never actually invade anyway.

I added a bunch of random nerds to my Supporter's list, jump in when I get an alert that they're being invaded and drop a fat sack of grenade launcher in their asshole and walk out with 1.5 mil GMP and some resources for my trouble.

They can't retaliate against me because its neither my base nor theirs that i'm attacking in. I'm a third party they can't touch.

I haven't actually taken much of a look at the FOB stuff, but I'm pretty sure the unprocessed resources generated by an FOB are kept separate from the resources on Mother Base, and it's only the former (and whatever troops are there) that's at stake when they get invaded.

You get a notice that your shit is being invaded if they're stupid and run into a camera/guard, and can go and stomp their shit if you care.

Also anybody "Supporting" you at the time gets the same notice, so they can go stomp their shit while you go raid his base for goodies.

Not sure, the guys i've been supporting are usually offline so it probably does a hierarchy thing where owner gets a notice first, then supporters.
