You can take slime extracts from player-controlled slimes (via surgery or the slime processor): perhaps you could put those in a debrained human body (that is to say, the extract takes the place of the brain) and clone it to make a slime-person?

The downside is that you're weak to EMPs, you can't heal yourself with standard medicine (so every M.D. ever will look at you in confusion when bruise packs fail), and that it takes a fair bit of effort and metal to fully augment someone.
