An argument about fallacies, apparently.
Also you forgot another important fallacy, the fallacy fallacy. Dismissing someone's entire statement based on a single fallacy is a fallacy in itself.

Re: Five Nights at Freddy's
It was very cleverly set up to lead you to believe that the game is a sequel, but if you pay attention there is no direct evidence that the old animatronics come from the first game's location. In fact, the newspaper article you see after Night 6 explains that, while the new animatronics were scrapp...

There is a verb that increases your view distance, set-view-distance or something it's called. The maximum size is 128, if I remember correctly. With that distance you only need ~4 screenshots to cover the entire map. Only admins can use the verb, but to take a decent screenshot of the map without p...

People are going to use this calculator anyway. Better to put everyone on a level playing field.
Maybe even introduce the calculator as a tangible object in-game. You pick it up, use it in your hand, punch the numbers in and it tells you the values you want.

Also now I apparently need to get my silicon modified so he stops being a hard-ass about a simple trip to the gardens.

Re: A humble request to /tg/station admins
We keep our fluff vague on purpose. It makes it much easier for people to invent stuff on the fly. Everyone is a special snowflake on Space Station 13! But seriously, I think it would scare off a lot of people if they first have to learn a massive backstory before they can properly RP on the station...

I virtually only play Payday 2 with my brother, so I always have someone I can coordinate loadouts with. That's why I always take a sniper rifle, and can usually focus on the special roles that are easier to take out with one.

I love the sniper rifles from the sniper pack. It gets better and better, because the developer actively supports the game and keeps updating it. Some of the new content is paid DLC, some is free.

References in the game to the game itself are good too. For instance the new holographic wet floor signs. Their description is "the words flicker, like they mean nothing".

Re: References or Original Content
General references to common tropes of science fiction are good and funny. Specific references are funny too, but not when the whole game is a copy-paste of other media. Space Station 13 is, first and foremost, a parody of the sci-fi genre as a whole.

Fahrenheit is based on no-one-even-fucking-knows-what, most likely "0 feels very cold, 100 feels very hot". More or less, yeah. Fahrenheit stuck a thermometer into frozen brine (a salt water solution) and called that temperature 0, then stuck the thermometer into his mouth and called that...

There's a good reason why all SI units are part of the metric system. I wonder how much longer until we start counting time in kilo/mega/gigaseconds though.
