Re: Should traitor clowns be clumsy?
the CLUMSY disability is deliberately removed from Traitor clowns, which means currently: No, they shouldn't be clumsy. I believe this originally steps from the fact the clown was a joke/punishment role. Then people liked it. So them being "gimped" in traitor mode annoyed people. Anyways, ...

Re: BYOND RNG
I'm well aware floats are wrong, but Byond only has floats in DM land, though in actuality rand() only returns a float when it's in no-arg territory, so I should have used two different vars (float + int) rather than cramming them both in a float for the rand() function itself. I never said random s...

Unfortunately, the mob inside can just attempt to move/resist. If the closet isn't welded or locked, then the mob will instantly escape. So in terms of a ling, the box essentially makes no difference to just standing next to them while they revive themselves. I do however like the concept of welding...
Re: BYOND RNG
Byond (supposedly) uses the base C implementation of rand(), which varies upon platform glibc (GCC, most popular c compiler iirc) uses a Linear Congruential Generator GCC uses the constants 1103515245, 12345 and 2^31 -1, meaning the random number produced is seed2 = 1103515245 * seed1 + 12345 % 2^31...

I offered two versions, one where they just de-limb your arms and legs and the other which you say the mob picks you apart piece by piece to eat you, so a no vote on the latter it seems. On what grounds does it make them ALL a pain in the ass?
I already said that the only difference in the upload process is you have to click "Action" or "Definition", if you pick the wrong one that's your own fault.

also if kudzu needs more nerfs after this, why not just make it weak to fire?
have it catch fire and that spread about 5 or so turfs each time.
could even be used as a buff by the kudzu planter, grow lots of it then use it as an accelerant for flames, !FUN!
plants burn yo.

How could you possibly punish them for pressing the "game is over" button, because now the game is over there's nothing to punish.
And if you intend to stop that button from working once pressed like that, bad news, people will just alt-f4/hit the cross/suicide/ghost

Why not codify the 'Action Law' and 'Definition Law' thing, rather than leaving it hidden in the internet equivalent of a dusty book buried in an ancient temple, titled "how not to b&" The more silicon policy can actually exist in the game the less chance someone will ignore it, imo. W...
