Re: Stasis beds are shit.
I mean, we could throw code solutions at it, but maybe consider that killing people just to clone them when alternatives exist and can be used should probably, actually, be a rule 1 break.

Re: Explosive Holoparasites
The origin of the reference, Killer Queen, seemingly either had to detonate the bomb themselves or rig it to blow upon someone touching the object. It's unfortunately vague because what the fuck is consistency with standos, but we could just scrap the latter half and have the holopara rig objects to...

I also like the part where Shadowflame forgot the beat where antags literally are given an advantage others normally cannot obtain anyway so like, who gives a fuck if they managed to steal a rollerbed just to more quickly move a stunned target.

Re: I want to know if people think that murderboning is a genuine issue.
To make murderboning even close to impossible would probably require making the actual act of prolonged combat impossible. Which would need fairly significant changes across the board. Combat fatigue, slower healing, more complex medical problems and solutions. Things that would make it very likely ...

I saw a space dragon spawn, start it's killing spree, then immediately get gatted down by a lizard with a riot shotgun filled with buckshot. He just walked up to it and pumped it full of lead. They die pretty easily to bullet if you have the balls to rush it. Granted, lizards have an easier time aga...

Tbh SRM missiles could be removed and nothing would be lost.
And if not then either allowing borgs to smack mechs or making mech critical failures be nonharmful at the very least opens up borgs to being able to challenge mechs as they should be.

It's not like Sybil makes for very engaging antag players, let alone get much use out of the brainwashing poweer. Most seem to get very angry about being made one. Or ignore it, as it were.

TBH I think the people you are facing are complete trash and that nukie mechs are walking toasters ready to pop at any moment. Station mechs are head and shoulders above nukie mechs due to custom setup and maximum parts.

It's RNG if a borg is stunned by rockets but they're usually not. That said, rockets are good against exactly one person at a time and have a cooldown between shots. They're not very hot against non-mechs compared to just shooting them with your various other gun options. People overhype the SRM aga...

For much the same reasons as Yakuml pointed out I've only been using my few hivemind rounds to quickly valid the other hiveminds and make it as unobvious as possible what the round type is. Going ham-fisted loony trying to kill specific people for no reason makes you look like either a traitor or a ...

In the same post I suggested moving to a more consistent system to weaken them from crippling damage and allow for borgs to fight them. As for mechs, from a gameplay point of view I'm not exactly thrilled about the idea of people entombing themselves in stun immune mech suits and then crying to admins because a borg harmwelded their mech to death and it ~could~ have caused them harm. Mechs exploding in a 1/3 is relatively obscure e...

There is currently a bug with the binoculars that allows you to move after using them while retaining the extreme vision. Following what Inspiria was saying, using this and x-ray vision, you can render half the station unable to die with the rod while retaining full movement.

I thought I'd make a mockup of what the mechs would look like for clarification as to what we were doing, since the spray paint basically renders you completely black (though some monitors might pick out tiny differences slightly better) though in-game they'd be less of the blurry edges. Opening fire on a mech with an Ion is not an arrest attempt, it's straight up lethal force even if it's not apparent it's lethal force. It's the same mistake borgs make hitting mechs with weapons. People forget mechs have critical failures that result in potential explosions centered on the pilot th...

So I was in the firefighter. One of my first stop-offs for finding dead bodies is dorms because the wardrobes can be locked to a specific ID, so you can hide the body from people not willing to waste time opening them up. Maybe put RCD's into the premium items on the vendors and a fired engine gives everyone a payrise, since we have this fucking economy system. Although as I understand it, goof's system doesn't play nice with altering pay rates so maybe that's out of the question.

Engineers are a pretty blatant example of a job that is extremely simple at a baseline yet consistently sees people not touching the thing it's supposed to do every round. Fire up the engine. A basic n2 setup takes less than 5 minutes tops if you know how to do it all by heart, and requires next to ...

Creep is a severely ill-conceived antagonist and should never have been merged.
