Sounds like Jegub is describing a fun game, but I'm not sure that it would be fun as a repetitive, multiplayer game. Once you figure out how to make whatever chemical really fast, you basically just recreate that exact sequence over and over. Even if there's no explicit macro/copy-and-paste/whatever...

I think people are looking at this backwards. If a bomb/singulo/whatever has torn half the station apart and created an unfun situation, forcing them to keep playing isn't going to make the situation fun somehow. The game is round-based; it doesn't matter if the round ends in 10 minutes or 10 hours....

It would be really nice if damage wasn't determined solely by the fucking bullet. Right now the reason for not having a revolver take 7.62 is that 7.62 does a shitload of damage.

selecting runtime doesn't seem to improve compile time, only round loading time That's because maps aren't compiled in, but loaded at runtime. (Technically the miscellaneous z levels that show up are compiled in, but theyr'e irrelevant for this discussion) I like to turn those off too for even more...
