In order to reduce griefing and spam in our Discord without forcing everyone to have a verified phone number on their account, we require new members to validate themselves as a /tg/station player before entering our Discord.
Never verified before
- Connect to one of our game servers and click on the OOC tab.
- Click the Verify Discord Account button.
- This screen will pop up
- Copy the command between the two "'s, in this example
.verify about-quickly-anymore-sleep-hurt-here
- Paste and send this command in the verification channel
- If this works you will be verified and able to see other channels
- If you can't see other channels and the bot puts out an error message that you don't understand, contact the @Verifiers role for more assistance
Verified before
- type .verify and send this message to the channel
- You will be verified as long as you had a previous valid verification.
New discord account, but previously verified
- Follow the process as if you were a new account
- This is also true if you are changing ckey
Is there another way?
Not yet, but we are working on providing a way for those with byond-linked forum accounts to auto verify without having to do so in-game.
